Saw a bit of history yesterday in Brookings, OR. The sword of Nobuo Fujita, the only Japanese fighter to bomb mainland USA during WWII on 9/9/1942. 20 years later, he returned to Brookings to offer his 400 year old family samurai sword as a peace offering, and he regularly visited to plant trees. 💚
