We made a powerful statement last night before Council that we deserve better. Low pay, unfair deactivations, and the need for our Driver Resource Center using the agonizing stories of our driver community...Making lawmakers feel what we're going through!

Lyft deactivated another driver after 8 yrs with no clear explanation. Now his family searches for answers. WE DESERVE DEACTIVATION PROTECTIONS, and we need a Driver Resource Center where drivers can get support. Mayor Wilson & Council, please help!

Portland's raising the rideshare fee to $2. PLEASE HELP US ask Council & Mayor W to dedicate a small portion to support our essential, but vulnerable workers who are being exploited by Uber & Lyft's algorithms!

Sad news: SB 1166, Oregon's rideshare driver rights bill won’t pass. 'Twas an uphill battle, made harder by the budget crisis. We moved lawmakers w/ our stories & in our 1st try nearly made it to the end, thanks to you & we're getting STRONGER!

Drivers in Oregon met up at the Capitol in Salem today to fight for driver rights and support Senate Bill 1166! Thanks to tons of friends, family & allies we had a huge rally and a great hearing on the bill!

One of his final times in the legislature was last month when we appeared before his committee for our Informational Meeting for our rideshare bill. He told Uber & Lyft to pay their drivers more equitably.

A beautiful sunny day for our Free Supply Shop event with Eboni, the director of our coalition partner Greater Good Northwest. Drivers got to come and grab household items like laundry soap, toilet paper, hygiene products, and even diapers for free. Proud to serve the community together!

LYFT PAYS DRIVERS DIFFERENTLY FOR THE SAME WORK! If you own your car, you've already taken pay cuts, but renters are paid even less, on top of fees! This is why Oregon drivers demand FAIR PAY, just like in Washington, where drivers continue to fight for their rights. We must unite!

This is a classic example of Lyft's greed, especially during inclement weather. If their rider hadn't tipped, this Portland driver would've only been paid 18% of the fare. Even with tip, Lyft took over HALF! Drivers deserve fair pay, and riders deserve transparency.
