In Bojack Horseman, there's a joke about making a TV show out of a greeting card. It points a finger at the vapid idea that something pre-existing, however flimsy or lacking in meaning, is a "safer" project for Hollywood than literally anything else.

The Pokemon Company announced the next Pokemon Presents on the 27th, and we've got a Nintendo Direct coming up at the beginning of April, so it's time to prepare...
An "Unrealistic Expectations" bingo card for the Nintendo Direct scheduled for April 2 and the Pokemon Presents scheduled for February 27, 2025.
