When they say "comet formed around another star" they mean the comet came together (or was broken off from something larger) in orbit around a sun other than our own. As in, "the comet was formed orbiting around a star"

thanks for the kind words! Yes, I saw it was a bit more pinkish on the East coast as well. I'm only a few miles from the fires so the smoke plume was directly in between my camera and the moon, hence the crazy red!

we also checked out the gravity of different planetesimals in the solar system to figure out which one has surface gravity weak enough to give you a real 4 minute pool dive time! :)
