Our academic dishonesty office is apparently months behind due to AI cheating stuff, so that also makes other more old school cheating harder to bust, too.

Can we just give all of our asylum seekers and their families a work visa, a one-way trip to an empty Rust Belt town, and a path to citizenship, and come back in 10 years to see the whole community thriving?

I've recently done a lot of qualitative pre-testing of very basic *bedrock* social science measures and let me tell you what, survey respondents do NOT understand really basic common questions. the wording on this one renders it meaningless.

2. "instead of"
presumes that whatever unspecified elites want is NOT the same as what "most people" want

3. "most people in their district"
which "most people"? people "like you"? do NOT get me started on voters' inabilities to correctly assess public opinion.

ok i'm on hold, here goes

1. "voting the way elites in their social group"
what do respondents thing the word "their" refers to, to the govt officials? which govt officials: all of them? your senator, your congressperson? the president?

and if they are all under one wealth-extractive publisher can at least THAT PUBLISHER have ONE CENTRAL LOGIN? I have, like, 10 different logins to different journals in Manuscript Central.

ISTG every time I want to submit a revision I have to do 2 rounds of password reset.

Yeah then add to that the research about how anger + negative emotion prompt reactions and sharing --> and then think about one entire political base just bathing its brains in angry-hormone fight-or-flight --> we have to find a way to make a country with these people? They legit need help.
