Another big trophy for Italy! They are on an amazing run in the Euros in this save, they have made it to every final since 2028, and have only missed one since 2021.

This set us up for a final against the Netherlands. This game was out of control, but somehow ended in a 1-0 win for us. Both teams created a lot of chances, and the Netherlands GK managed to get an 8.3 rating despite conceding!

Our semi final opponent was Germany. We had less rest so I had to take a bit of a gamble and start our second 11. We scraped by with an even luckier 1-0, thanks to Costarella having another great game in goal.

Next up was Spain. The extra rest helped us edge out a 1-0 win, which was very fortunate for us based on the xG. Costarella had a great game in goal to see us through.

Our first knockout game was against Ireland. Our second 11 won this fairly convincingly.

The 2052 Euros were hosted by our neighbours Switzerland and Austria. We were drawn in a group with Austria, and won all of our games. Our wins against Austria and Wales were by 1 goal, but the last game was a comfortable 3-0 against Romania.

We've replaced Florian Dumont with Yuma Tabata (who we signed for 7.75M at 18 thanks to our scouts) and Kariba Sissoko with Dominic Platte, and Thibaud Gicquel with Jacob Hørby (signed on a free).

2051/52 - We won Serie A, the Supercoppa, UEFA Supercup and CL, but lost a couple Serie A games and the Coppa Italia final on penalties. Our standards have truly slipped.

2050/51 - Another invincible domestic treble, UEFA Supercup, and CL. We absolutely dumpstered Real Madrid in the final, which was nice. I also picked up another Nations League trophy with Italy.

This brought us to the final, against Serbia. The extra rest for our starting 11 got helped us dominate the game and end the 44 year wait for a 5th World Cup. I can only imagine the scenes in 2050 Lygon Street.

Our extra energy did pay off late in the game, as we equalised in injury time (through a Mirabelli penalty) to take it to extra time. We squeezed through on penalties again.

The quarter final against France was fairly evenly matched, with neither team creating any decent chances in open play. We were separated by a penalty in the end, scored by Cappelletti.
