I wish Democrats would put out a statement “any contractors involved in defacing, damaging, or illegally constructing structures on public property can look forward to being hauled in for Congressional hearings and possibly being charged.” Scare every contractor in Washington.

Maybe it was some kind of (what we’d now call) religious mania? Some kind of wacko death cult with a charismatic “prophet” (think Thulsa Doom in 'Conan the Barbarian') that emerged around 5000 BCE?

Reading the article, it seems to me there may have beeen some kind of widespread human sacrifice that was going on. But what triggered it? This seems to have come out of the blue.

I’d wager a few bucks that Trump got the inside track from someone on SCOTUS that they’ve ruled against his tariffs and now, they’re just writing up the majority/minority opinions. And he's freaking out.

First thing I noticed, too. The right side of his mouth is drooping, and it's easily noticeable. My immediate thought was, "Dude's had a stroke, and not long ago, either."

In 2003, Trump was pretty much considered a has-been, a relic of the go-go 1980s. He was making his money licensing his name to others, as the '90s were a pretty lousy decade for him. He was little more than the butt of a joke and fodder for the tabloid gossip pages.

IIRC, and it's been a long time since I read it, the women in the novel would privately discuss that among themselves.

And I'd imagine there's almost certainly video of that. Bondi, and the entire DoJ apparatus, is going all-in to protect Trump.
