An ode to coffee, cafe, cafe y pan... From a group of musicians in Stockholm, playing folk music with Spanish, French, Turkish, Russian, English, and Luganda influences. In a living room, near Stockholm. I've never heard music performed exactly like this - and ;I was happy to get some digitalized tracks, including this favorite - a version of a classic, much-covered song, but done in their unique way. Thanks to my dear friend, composer David Spear and his beloved and talented diva wife Yvonne Regalado Martin, to whom this is dedicated. I've not been able to find any other music by this assemblage online, so here is a tribute to them - and of course, to coffee & bread, cafes & music.
