They're neat dogs also. I had a deaf one w/blue eyes whom I trained to learn hand signals.

MY favorite breed are Dalmatian.... we had one growing up named prince... and then when mom and dad moved out here, they inherited a female named princess and she was hilarious... so funny watching her pick blackberries..

Tinker didnt bite the dog or anything and she came trotting over to me with a big smile on her face. Of course I gave her a good petting... and the Doberman would always walk the other way when it saw me...

I had this little dog part Pekinese and part Beagle. She was the neighbors dog but I cared for her... 'Tinker Bell'... and out of nowhere Tinker came flying across the yard and landed on the back of the Doberman and suddenly that dog was running away and crying like it had been shot...

we had a Doberman up the street for a while growing up. One day I was at a neighbors house shooting my basketball and suddenly out of nowhere this Doberman is out of his yard and growling and snarling and coming right at me.

That was before bezos. The Post got rid of waste and fraud before when they got rid of the Herald. But I was gone by then, disabled by a broken neck suffered on the job... The Herald, the Post, my union my co-workers and my state let me down. But that is another story...

But it was close. I found out that the Herald was the only newspaper other than the Washington Post itself that was owned by the Post.... It was very cool that I got to work for the corporation that brought Nixon to his knees...I was and am proud of that tradition.

back in 1995 I was unemployed of course looking for work. I didnt have to look very far. I live in downtown Everett Washington and the Everett Daily Herald was 7 blocks from home! I was 38 years old and they offered 5.50 an hour.
