Now a U.S. president is deploying Texas troops to other states to dominate and intimidate those states, and Abbott is complicit.

If you levy tariffs, you increase the cost of goods. If the federal government withdraws billions in spending with its stimulative effects and furloughs 750 K workers, depriving them of spending power, you have inflation and escalating unemployment. The combination equals a recession.
