Each successive Dragon Age lost more and more of its original style, tone, and goals. I put the majority of that blame on EA.

They've been messing with Dragon Age since at least DA2 and never let it fully be what Origins (which was a spiritual successor to BG1+2 and Neverwinter) set it out to be: a dark, story-rich, tactical RPG with deep character relationships and meaningful choices.

Ikr? You would think that for me. But Starfire's personality and chemistry with Robin got me first.

They want you dumb, poor, overworked, and exhausted. Because then you not only don't have the time or energy to challenge the system, but you wouldn't know how to challenge anything if you did. The capacity to think outside of your immediate needs would be nonexistent.

An educated populace is one that can see through the smokescreen of identity politics. Thinking critically about the state of the world for more than two minutes highlights the glaring lies and hypocrisy of the system. So, it's in the ruling class's best interest to attack educational institutions.

I'd call it a failed system, but it isn't. It's working exactly as intended, but only for the benefit of those already in power. If you don't possess capital to begin with, it's in the system's best interest to grind you down and keep you in your place to serve as fodder to keep the machine rolling.
