Also the movie so far looks to be pretty standard and straight forward; someone even clocked in the fact that the main character's mom is a waitress that works overtime for their kid, which is such a classic trope in underdogs stories. But it can still be a fun time at the movies

As of now I think Goat may end up being a pleasant surprise. But the marketing for it has been pretty mediocre; it reminds me of how animated movies were sold in the 2000s what with the fart joke, gross out jokes, and the screaming goat meme that just won't DIE!
