I get that blaming Democrats is a popular take, but SC simply prefers Republicans. If SC had an overtly odious Repub senate candidate like Mark Robinson, and the Dem candidate was like Beshear, the Dem would at best barely win.

SC is much tougher than NC.

(especially Trump)

Trump has suffered few to no consequences for saying and doing whatever he wants for 10 years now. Many republicans feel empowered to do the same.
