Ich bin gespannt, wie viele Nutzer:innen bis zur Stichwahl in zwei Wochen zwischen Noosha Aubel (parteilos) und Severin Fischer (SPD) noch dazukommen werden!

Ja, man könnte interessante Analysen anschließen (wie aber nicht, weil wir die Daten nicht haben) wie zB, ob der Wechsel von CDU zu AfD durch die Kompetenzzuschreibung erklären kann.

I'm not so sure. Only very few parties withstand the temptation to become more critical of immigration in Europe. I'm not too familiar with the party competition literature on issues. It would be interesting to see if this is a general pattern or related to immigration only. 1/

Bei der BTW haben das 66% gesagt. Wäre also extrem überraschend, wenn ihre Kompetenzwerte nicht steigen würden, wenn ihr Zuspruch steigt. 2/

Allerdings ist der Zuspruch insgesamt auch gestiegen. Im Februar lag sie bei 21% und hatte 22% Kompetenzzuweisung bei Asyl, jetzt liegt sie bei 25% und hat 26% Kompetenzzuweisung. Will das nicht kleinreden, aber die AfD wird, wie alle Parteien, hauptsächlich aus Issue Gründen gewählt. 1/

Maybe it's just mainstream party panic. It doesn't matter if there is evidence against it, it's just a spontaneous reaction to seeing another party gaining support. Those that advocate for accommodation take over, as it seems like a natural choice to the rest of the party.
