I wasn’t thinking along the lines of introducing people to stoicism holistically, so I think I missed your original point. To do that well you need a purpose-built resource like your book.

Marcus is such an easy starting point when I want to spark interest or find a quote to apply as an example. I think the lack of context matters less at the very outset when the goal is to set others on that path of discovery. Meditations is a great ‘hook’, but it needs more context very quickly.
