That’s fair, but if the point is to shed light on how Russia is forcing children to live thru horrors of war, wearing combat attire can be helpful. Similar to why Zelenskyy resisted calls to wear a suit, he wants the constant reminder to international audience that it’s wartime d/t 🇷🇺 aggression

I mean, they already hit a Ukrainian military ship deep up river near Romania, so it’s been known Russia has them and they’re effective. Now it’s interesting to see how Ukraine adapts/counters. Can’t tell how it was destroyed in the video?

Good to see Ukraine has enough supply of Western air dropped munitions to use on infantry concentrations

Hope this triggers some Azerbaijani shipments of weapons/shells.

I’m highly skeptical that more sanctions would have done anything meaningful. Obama is leader of a democracy, and there was no popular mandate to potentially enter a military conflict with Russia. Stalling for time to build up Ukrainian institutions was correct strategic choice imo

US drastically stepped up its covert actions to help Ukraine and help build up GUR, which has been instrumental in maintaining Ukrainian independence

I mean, they’re going to become hubs for Ukrainian military activity and therefore obvious targets for artillery and missiles. So get kids out of the way. Less civilians simplifies logistics too

This feels like the message Russia wants. It’s not over, 3.5 years is a long time, look how much has happened in just 6 months.

Now for the acknowledgment that they were wrong, self-reflection, and apologies?!?? 🙄🤣
August 4, 2025 at 10:49 PM
Wonder if this is purely to fix Ukrainian troops from being deployed to the East, or if there’s some larger plan by Russia. It’d be a long push towards Zaporizhzhia. Maybe just to get within artillery range?
August 3, 2025 at 1:35 AM
I think I found on Google Maps. It’s a little island in Kherson on the Dnipro, near Kherson city. Pretty concerning that Russia may be planning to cross the Dnipro to it, as looks like that bridge is only crossing point. Or maybe Russia is trying to stop Ukraine from crossing.

You are a horrible horrible person. I hope you get help
August 1, 2025 at 7:23 PM
Admitting you’re wrong is hard, but you are wrong. You are asserting that American doctors, multiple UN agencies, every journalist in Gaza, Israeli human rights groups, World Central Kitchen, etc, etc, etc all are conspiring to frame Israel for causing a starvation? All while 🇮🇱 publicly blocks aid?

Wonder why we only see these Hammer strikes in the North and South? Airspace isn’t safe enough in the Donbas?
July 31, 2025 at 1:59 PM
I hope you’re a paid troll, otherwise you are doing incredible mental gymnastics to try to protect your idealistic view of Israel. I’m guessing all the western doctors and aid workers are somehow paid by Hamas to lie? Maybe house elves are bringing all the food in from Hogwarts?
July 31, 2025 at 1:57 PM
? Why? From afar, seems to be playing the cards he was dealt as good as you could expect in an early government. Seems stronger than the head of lettuce lady?
July 30, 2025 at 3:44 AM
Trying to exert what leverage he does have to make a positive difference. UK doesn’t have much else it can do on its own. Pressuring the US to stop weapon shipments obviously hasn’t worked, so they’re doing what they can alone
July 30, 2025 at 3:42 AM
Do you really believe that they are the only ones starving? No rational person is defending Hamas’s brutality, but starving an entire population is similarly brutal. Be rational.
July 30, 2025 at 3:41 AM
This could be Russia’s last push if Ukraine can hold. Summer fighting season is winding down and Putin can’t sustain this level of man and material losses for no large breakthrough/strategically meaningful gains 🤞
July 25, 2025 at 3:49 PM
Hopefully 🇷🇺 can’t utilize the confusion to break into the city along a different axis of advance 🤞
July 22, 2025 at 9:34 AM
Ex-Colombian military are pretty well known for looking for mercenary jobs. Given the long conflicts with FARC, and SOF training by US military to combat cartels, they are usually in high demand, glad to see they are on Ukraines side.
July 11, 2025 at 3:25 AM
Where’s the second? Wonder if UA is low on them or is confident enough in lack of Russia AA that it’s worth a sortie with only one hammer.

I’m in mourning over USA’s fall to deliberate cruelty as well, but don’t give up on all Americans. It’s a big country with diverse people, let’s see if we can earn back some global respect in the upcoming years. And let’s see if anyone fills the vacuum of US’s global aid and human development
June 17, 2025 at 9:45 PM
That’s fair. I doubt Trump has the mental capacity and empathy required to truly understand the consequences of gutting USAID, but I take your point. I think cruel is a perfect descriptor for their actions. I just think comparing to Stalin and Pol Pot isn’t yet justified.
