In light of everything, I have a high school senior who deserves a bright road ahead. Stop suppressing education! Support kids and their futures even though the old white guys try to strangle their potential.

The “kids” are ready to go to bed. I envy their lives (zero worries about the collapse of society.) We’ll keep them ignorant of such things as long as we can.

It’s turning to spring, but a month ago we sailed out of NY Harbor during a snow squall, which created a magical skyline effect. I need reminders of beauty and calm in my days lately, I assume you do too.

Our homemade Mac and cheese (with recently homemade stock) is accompanied by roasted veggies. I’m crying over here but at least we can eat well. (I guess… for a tiny amount of time more).

In light of all the scary stuff happening in the US - of which we all need to keep track of and fight against - we also need to keep hope, clarity, hope and love. Max and Ruby were rescued from a tiny pen, outdoors, in the winter, and fed only animal scraps. Now they’re loved, warm, and fed.
