Having a great time with Nioh 1.
I've put it off for ages and I was even in one of the first beta's for it but just never made the time.
Plus you play as an Irish guy and the game starts with you murdering the English and fleeing to Japan so finally I feel represented.

As has been covered previously, the Japanese sticker on top of this reads "I <3 Osaka". This is a reference to the location of Capcom's headquarters which I visited myself recently.
I also love Osaka so me and Nico are in agreement on this.

I remember going over every screenshot of the Devil May Cry van in the DMC5info days but somehow I still missed a detail.
Nico has a "Proud to be Single" bumper sticker but with "Single" ripped off. Did she find a partner? Did Nero put it there as a prank? It is a mystery.

Man something just clicked with DMC5 Vergil last night and I was just firing off perfect Judgement Cuts. Totally going to lose the rhythm by the time I go back to play today though.

So true internet user, the reason why the modern iteration of a franchise has less features or customisation isn't because dev pipelines are streamlined, game budgets have not raised in line with dev costs or a myriad of other reasons.

Today is the Japanese anniversary of Devil May Cry 2! The black sheep of DMC in terms of quality but overhated and underappreciated for what it is - a pretty average PS2 action game for its time.
Play it with an open mind and not what youtubers tell you and you might find yourself appreciating it.
