On a serious note: peer review quality on iceberg detection papers is a problem: too many traditional ML experts who think more images, not labels, are the answer, and call our work bad science.

I'm caught in their wrath as I try to get this paper published.

I've been told constantly that I overshare and that I shouldn't. Even by people who are autistic (but a lot older than me).

I mostly overshare because if I miss important details, I will think I haven't given the full information.

Outside of work I'm struggling to make new friends as I don't have much of a support network here.
