I wish
The oligarchs are in it for the long run
Profits/ratings/awards are not the object
Dominating the info environment is
It's what Murdoch did (although he did also want the money)
It's what Musk did

My point re: most expensive is that they *generally* have fewest variables that'd go wrong if u get sick

If you're young, odds r u won't. Or your illness will be quick (& cheap 4 the insurer) to fix

I see too many folks in my age group, 50-64 who get a serious chronic illness with cr*p coverage

You reinforce my point: way too many variables for the most educated* to decide. I'll add a few:

Your PCP may participate, but the best hospital near you (and it's ER) may not

Your hospital and PCP participate, but the ER docs, radiologists and pathologists don't

TBF, that was essentially what the Kavanaugh decision requires
The $35 cost of a wallet passport card is worth it if you are brown and can afford it

I miss my remote’s ability to switch back to the last channel and the old days of channel surfing

Bless you if the AI gives you a useful answer
With all my years of training, I cannot choose for myself, even when the choices are limited to 2-3 plans
Best choice is usually most expensive
And wildcard is you cannot predict your future needs

Old enough to remember when Jon Stewart took Crossfire to task for doing this sh*t. Guess it draws them eyeballs, country be damned

A cynical observer, looking at how solving COVID and the uninsured went, would bet lower home prices will piss off current homeowners (lower equity), while better access to childcare will undoubtedly require immigration, and predict that the Age of Abundance will be short lived

When the flood water starts creeping into your house, remind it that our EPA "no longer takes marching orders from the climate cult."

That should make it go away

On the bright side, could reduce demand for World Cup tix and lower FIFA’s extortionist level prices

The reporting on my go to for investigative journalism, @thedailyshow.com says it is an estrogen patch. Prove it isn't.

the good reimbursement from "the Blues" has given way to dependence on Medicare (as Boomers have annuated in) and Medicaid (with the gig economy's no benefits jobs) which pay hospitals better. 2/2

It seems likely that increased life expectancy has lowered the turnover of housing. You can complain all you want about Boomers hoarding everything but they wouldn't if, y'know, they be d e a d

You underestimate the GOP's ability to ignore flaws in order to maintain power. My guess is he'll switch parties before the primary and win
Only an uberlord running constant negative ads quoting him on all his pre-stroke anti-MAGAisms would beat him

Plus, it seems very unlikely that, even in red states, the legislatures would allow the public university affiliated health care enterprises to go billionaire-only
