In a long-awaited update, the CDC has issued new guidelines for HIV post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). The new guidance—the first revision since 2016—now recommends Biktarvy or a dolutegravir combination to prevent HIV acquisition after non-occupational exposure such as sex or injection drug use.

In response to the Trump admin’s premeditated ‘report’ advancing so-called ‘conversion therapy’ for trans youth, the nation’s leading medical associations made it clear: Health care for trans youth is evidence based, best practice, & medical decisions SHOULD NOT be made by politicians.
