Same. Final Fantasy VII was the first major gaming experience I had and I was in bliss the entire time. So much so I had to play the game again immediately after finishing.

All I ever saw of this person was them being thoroughly obnoxious and a massive piece of shit so this whole situation is incredibly bizarre to me.

They really are. I wish I could sit and play them all day.

I've got a Dark Urge BG3 run, Temple of Elemental Evil, New Vegas, and Undertale (which is more RPG-lite) all going. Cyberpunk is up next once my BG3 run is done. And every RPG on my game list for this year is like "Play us instead of those others!" It's bad. 😂

I can't really speak to this, to be fair, and likely never will be able to. The one thing I can speak to is that the overwhelming praise (some would say glazing) heaped upon the game had the opposite effect on my only mild interest than one would expect.
