What did you mean by baby steps then, if not referring to Sanders?

Those are hushpuppies they are not just scraps of leftover batter.

Sanders isn't in politics to move us closer to socialism. He's literally controlled opposition that exists to blunt any shift left and recapture voters into the Democratic party.

It also ignores the reality that to the extent said state is repressive, it's usually because the US meddled and propped up a repressive regime because it would make extracting valuable resources much easier/cheaper.

How do you think they got that power? This is just another cost of doing business for them.
