The article is misinformation. Looking at both patents, they attempt to patent *very* specific circumstances, and fall well within the realm of novelty. I'm usually a nintendo hater but they're in the right here (legally speaking. capitalism is a plague, IP alongside it)

This week, Club Polaris closed its doors after 4 years, half of which I was present for. In that time it has been, imo, a pinnacle of the VRChat dance club scene. To me, this is the end of an era, and I put together an exit interview style video for it. This is my love letter to my home.
