For those interested in building new institutions for higher education, I'd be happy to share what I've learned over the last five years building Mimbres School. It is possible and there is a market for this product (but you'll need to become comfortable thinking about "markets" and "products"!)

I have taught two courses with the Mimbres School, "On Horses" back in 2023 and currently wrapping up "Domestication Syndrome." I usually do a reading group once a semester; next semester, I'm leading one about Castration. We research many different subject areas which intersect and overlap.

Everywhere we look we see signs of the institutions of higher ed collapsing, not only financially, but also in terms of living up to their own values. I'd love to be a part of brainstorming alternatives beyond these institutions. Where is that work happening and are they accepting new members?

can anybody recommend a good secondary source on Keynes' differing views and/or definitions about the relationship between "saving" and "investment" between the Treatise on Money and the General Theory?

economics is when you don't know the value of silver so you compare it to labor, you don't know the value of labor so you compare it to corn, and you don't know the value of corn so you compare it to silver.
