Update: Melvis is doing a bit better, but he’s not out of the woods yet. The vet got his temp up + he is eating a bit more, but bloodwork shows very high white count. He’s gonna start some meds to deal with the infection which hopefully get him mostly back to normal

Sitrep: Melvis seems to have gotten a little weaker overnight. We took him to the vet for an emergency appointment. X-rays weren’t too bad, and his temp is a little low. They’re keeping him to treat for stasis. Fingers crossed that he responds to the meds. Keep the positive thoughts coming

Thrice has a track record of strong costumes. They were Team Zissou back around 2005 when I caught them for a Halloween concert at Starland Ballroom, and if I remember right we’re tossing a few red beanies out so people could join in
