Im from WI, I’ve heard the whole range of Sconnie to Sotan dialect, but craziest? There are some wild Cajun accents, and Massachusetts to Maine you can get deep into some that you’d swear the people speaking are putting you on and just making shit up. For the record, I love accents.

Repeating the absurdity du’jour is a requirement. It shows complete loyalty which is the only requirement, the King’s word over everything even when reality obviously contradicts it. It’s a sickness and there is no bottom.

As a Packers fan, Flores has been overqualified since he stepped in as DC there. He might get some looks but he broke the code talking about the owner’s “private” conversations. He deserves another shot but mainly I’ll be happy not to play him twice a year if he moves on.

The dummymander. Huge amounts of work to do but it would be incredible to build a coalition that could turn these lighter pink districts blue. The only way the GOP will cry for independent redistricting will be if they are beaten at their own game.

After the 2016 elections, I absolutely lost faith in the electorate. I understand how populists operate, but this is the guy? The lifelong conman who always had it handed to him had people believe he’d fight for working people?

They have long been part of the Party of Obstruction and that’s the only thing they’ve been effective at doing. Break and starve government programs to say they don’t work and should be eliminated or privatized. Then give massive tax cuts to the ultra rich. Voters need this sham to be exposed

It’s worth watching the full clip. I have my issues with Newsom but what he said is not as it is being portrayed in the sound bite. He absolutely states it is a fundamental question of the constitution, but the administration was using the fact that it was about an immigrant as the distraction.
