A Vons employee randomly mentioned how crazy it was that humans have been eating beef for 1000s of years. Impressive, but how crazy would it have been to be the first caveman that stumbled upon a cow that had been struck by lightning? Likely the first human to enjoy cooked ribeye, NY strip etc.
