I kind of have this headcanon that Picky and Pokey/Porky are low key representations of the "nature vs nurture" argument; in that both were implicitly raised by pretty crappy/abusive parents and yet Picky seams to be a much more good natured person compared to his older brother.

It all starts with doing what we like and working our way up from there, lol.

I've always found it odd how Picky never played a major role (or even get much screen time) in the story despite being the brother of the secondary main antagonist.

Also, I like to headcanon that Hiroyuki Takei (the creator of said story) thought it would be fumy if the Archangel called "Metatron" was a literal Transformer and that this was the foundation for the rest of the Archangels in the faction this thing belonged to.

In the context of the story, it was because a car was used as the medium to manifest them in tangible form.
