mmm to me at least it feels like what the ff7 remake series is to ff7 where its like a lot of the same elements nd basic story but they also add and change a lot of stuff and are more handholdy but thats ok since the original will always exist you kno

ive not played the 25th anniversary hack but tbh rn im really excited for mother encore it looks like a wonderful reimagining of mother 1 and the new things they're adding r very cool too c:

honestly all the mother games, full of charm though they are and they hold a special place in my heart have bits that just are god awful to replay
