My students using AI to write their essays are rolling the dice that the sources it makes up will be real.

Sometimes they get lucky and it's close enough to look like an honest mistake. Sometimes it's not, and they get to take the class again.

I don't think it's helpful (or accurate) to use monocausal explanations like "you're relying on a monocausal explanation" instead of just explaining why someone is wrong on the merits.

My Senator told me FedSoc judges keep ignoring his unambiguous laws so I asked how many laws he has and he said he just goes to the Congress and gets a new law afterwards so I said it sounds like he’s just feeding unambiguous laws to FedSoc judges and then his chief of staff started crying.
