Thomas Jefferson believed that religion is a private matter. Unlike House Speaker Mike Johnson, whose phony religiosity was on display yesterday when he misattributed a prayer to Jefferson. Jefferson despised people like Johnson.

I sent the following note to Time Magazine re naming trump its Man of the Year:
Disgusting. Vile. Nauseating. Craven. Your obsequious congratulatory note was the topper. As a retired journalist, I can only say that you've disgraced yourselves and disgraced the entire journalism profession.

Seems like if nominees for Attorney General and Director of National Intelligence can't withstand an FBI background check, that's a red flag
