In other words, you can't hide from the history of bias your immigrant ancestors faced. You dishonor their integrity every time you denigrate immigrants. The only heritage that is truly American are the indigenous whose cultures have never been fully restored.

These small changes don't affect my well-being. They reflect more difficult choices that families face for health care, housing, nutrition, transportation, and service/utility payments when the vast majority of Americans are earning FAR below $140,000 per year.
