The Democratic Party is on its way to complete and utter annihilation. While they've been gaining a few members in Congress willing to stand up and fight for what is right, the equal & just foundation our Forefathers wanted and democracy itself, there are still too many like Schumer & THAT is the reason they'll continue to lose votes to 3rd parties and keep people away from the voting booth at all. They were on a good path with Obama and then threw it into the toilet by putting up Hillary; another dyed in wool classic politician. Her numbers were never strong enough amongst the more Liberal Dems & Independent's, like myself (who wanted Bernie, but the DNC fucked him over) and if they continue to lay down and take this bullshit, there will be a reckoning that they are unlikely to recover from. My prediction is the party will splinter - and cease to exist. We've seen this happen with the other side...it's literally how we got here today. What the Dems have failed to recognize (and many I spoke with throughout 2024 agree) is when they refuse to fight against the bullshit being thrown, they're being weak. And weakness won't save us. "When you’re weak you only think about getting hurt. It not only constrains your actions. It shapes and limits what future possibilities you are able to imagine. It makes it impossible to see or consider the ways that acting and taking risks, making foes react to you rather than constantly reacting to them can change the playing field and create new possibilities. I think that’s what brought Chuck Schumer to this moment. None of us know the future. So disagreements are inevitable. What was unforgivable was Schumer’s trying to hoodwink his supporters."
