The game I've been working on this year is now available!

Pigment is a platformer with movement and mechanics inspired by Hollow Knight, Ori, and The Messenger. There is a big focus on air mobility.

Get it for free at:

This was my desktop background for many years. Lovely.

Neat! what sort of pathfinding are they using?

Istanbul is really good! I've never played another game with mechanics like it has.

I like the motion on the tail. well done.

Thanks so much!

These are great! I love the expressions!

Thanks for sharing my game with everyone!

Since I wanted the game to emphasize air mobility, I really wanted the player to use the movement tools to regain health. During dev I had a way to stand still and attract the pigments, but it felt unsatisfying to just stand still and hold a button.

Speedrunners truly are the best QA.

When skipping that one I force a bunch of state like making the roof solid and moving the player to the nearest ground. You can probably guess what happened :)

I uploaded v0.3.2.c to fix it. This also moves the pause menu so it isn't affected by screen fade.

Looks like the flag reset happened as part of the end-of-level cutscene. So if you skipped the cutscene, then the boss phase state would not reset.
I've uploaded v0.3.2b to the itch page which fixes this issue.

That, uh, does not seem intended. I must have forgotten to clear a flag somewhere. Thanks for the bug report! I'll look into it.

Great! Glad to hear it works well on the deck. And I'm glad you had fun time with it!

I honestly don't know. I see that itch.io has a process for getting games on the deck, but I don't have one myself so I haven't tried it.
I started the process of getting Pigment added directly to Steam, but I kinda procrastinating on finishing that work :)

I just played the demo of Constance, a gorgeous platformer with a painting protagonist. It feels very satisfying to move around, but it can be quite challenging.
Give the demo a look before it's gone!

Haven't played our Steam demo yet? Make sure to do so before it goes down in 2025! 🕹️👀

:) Luna's hair is one of the hardest to translate from the show-style to something more detailed. In the show, her hair is an undulating blob with a translucent border, so drawing it as strands of physical hair is unsatisfying. I like how this looks and there's room for embellishment in the future.

Luna putting in some time at the gym. Whether any actual exercise occurs remains to be seen.

I had the urge to draw lava lamp Luna in a ponytail, so here we are.

A sketch page of anthropomorphic Princess Luna in a ponytail wearing workout gear. In one image she is weighing herself on a sliding weight column scale while attempting to cheat with her wings.
In the next image, she is putting her hair in a ponytail.
In the last image, she is on a Recumbent exercise bike playing Balatro on her phone, but she's not actually using her legs to move the pedals.
