I love reading about anthropology and the history of humanity for similar reasons. It bogles my mind what a relative blip we are on Earth and how societies came about. Guns, Germs, and Steel (Jared Diamond) and Sapiens (Yuval Noah Harari) are two books that I can't recommend enough.

It's ridiculous that, in the 21st century, skin color is even given a thought. 1st, the only "white" people are albinos. Never met one. We are ALL some shade of brown. From the lightest tanned to the darkest, we are ALL brown. we aren't paint chips.

Just live your life and let others do the same.
