Cannelloni in Little Italy on a tablecloth like this. Perfect.

I’m staying at a very worn out hotel next to the Port Authority and good grief how the rates of soared. I remember the surge of hotels… hotels popping in places like you would expect like on 39th. and then it stopped.

I recognize that. Is this a The Ring kind of situation?

Oh I remember that. Champagne or something right? It was a revolving door of restaurants for a bit. Tai er looks interesting. I can already hear my mom criticizing me for eating spicy foods.

I think this alert from the county needs a bit more detail

When we were leaving, someone who I would consider "classical Belmont" entered, and they seemed a bit confounded by what they were seeing, and the menu. I bet they were expecting something more like PF Changs.

It was an odd blend of dim sum and things from the rest of China. Most items on the main menu were spicy. My spouse thought Palette as a bit better tasting, but the presentation of the food was quite detailed.

And yeah, $288.88 peking duck next to Dollar Tree is a bit funny.

The moment I parked, I knew this was going to be an authentic place.

Hint: my car is the one parked “weird” in that row

An IHOP near me became a very, very, very Chinese restaurant. With things like $288.88 Peking duck flambé carved table side.

I have the same bait.

Theory: Scouts will search for food. Once they find food, they return to the colony, and other ants follow them to the bait. Together, they bring the poison back to the colony.

Reality: Scouts go into the bait, fall in, and drown

What a lively debate! I would go with 1, but mostly because I would rather take a bag in the face than have to fight my way out of a crowded car with 4.

Also this is kind of foreign to me anyway since most of my subway riding was on the 7 which was a lot simpler.

A slightly funnier version of Kimmel’s subscription joke would’ve been to end it by saying “Use promo code KIMMEL for $10 off” — and if the promo code actually worked

Electrified Caltrain, with more frequent service, was one of the biggest improvements in my overall quality of life in the past year. So glad it finally happened.
