Republicans *start* in these charts already wildly divergent from the rest of the country and then end up spiraling even further out. Its really impt in this moment to point out just how extreme Republicans are & how alone they are in that extremism.

also, let's be crystal clear here: there were PLENTY of local & state Democratic officeholders there yesterday and there today. people don't actually *want* Schumer & Jefferies there; they want to be able to scream at them for NOT being there. (spoiler alert: it'd also make shit WORSE at the scene.)
