I think theres a faster mate.
Play baki matai

He took 26 MOVES!
November 11, 2025 at 8:51 PM
This is the best I can do, although still legal moves blacks only good moves now are one pawn move and king moves.

His failure to find mate here was hilarious.
November 11, 2025 at 8:47 PM
This was when I got suspicious. You cant see it, but he used almost no time here. Even a skilled bogged down 400 would need some time to see the rook fork. But I was suspicious of white so I played fast. Remembering my losers chess games with Martin.
November 11, 2025 at 8:45 PM
This fork is an easy even possibly accidental find. Nothing suspicious on its own. However my opponent is on pace to beat the dr.lupo challenge.
November 11, 2025 at 8:43 PM
So this is the late mid, early endgame position, I simplified, to expedite the endgame. He didn't even touch his rooks for this entire late midgame. Just the knight I was bodying all over the board.
November 11, 2025 at 8:41 PM
85% accuracy.
But cant find a ladder mate.
@chess.com.
Even more best moves than me. My opponents dont do that often, but I did win my last two. I average 80% when playing "good chess", and can admit when im outplayed. He maybe just likes the pony.
Then....why is he 400. Even if hes weak at mate?
November 11, 2025 at 8:39 PM
I played this well
But lost to an opponent who couldnt find ladder mate in a winning endgame.

Which is normal for 400. Those knight moves, weren't. @chess.com

After losing on purpose to Martin this was all so obvious when trying to win.
November 7, 2025 at 7:27 PM
Okay, now im sure, hes not bad. He's literally playing to lose. Its actually hard to give Martin tempo. He spits on tempo and then gives ADVICE!
Im so onto him!!!!
November 7, 2025 at 7:11 PM
Oh do you Martin?
Did my check perplex your strategy.

I've learned your game.
Youre not the worst chess player everyone thinks you are.
#exposingmartin
@chess.com
He doesn't like when I make checks.

Consider this move in losers aka *su**de chess*
@gothamchess.bsky.social Hikaru will be happy to know there is a format where bongcloud is very good opening theory.
November 7, 2025 at 7:06 PM
When trying to lose to Martin, endgames are so weird.
Can you lose first.
Remember find the moves that force Martin to mate you.
November 7, 2025 at 7:02 PM
I swear Martin's Been playing us.
Obviously I see this. Im intentionally playing the worst move I can find.
Did Martin just give good advice?
@chess.com this is a pretty neat easter egg.
November 7, 2025 at 6:56 PM
It took him a while but eventually found fools mate. Martin might be my new favorite training bot. @chess.com i didn't even expect the fools mate to work. That game of losers chess i did first though. Very interesting data. Then Martin found fools mate pretty fast. Could just be lucky rng.
