In my head you had a meeting with the BBC:

BBC: "Steve, it looks like your videos are quite popular, shall we jazz them up with some fancy swishy graphics?"

Steve: "Let me try it with Post-It notes..."

And you know what, EPIC idea, it leans into the simplicity of these videos, absolutely love it!

The sheer amount of AI, or video stealing, was incredible.

If it wasn't the above, it was an advert, or click bait or a conspiracy theory.

Why do people "watch" it? It's just a total waste of resources, including people's time.

And Farmer Hoggett would famously go on to invent warp drive just a few short years later.

Tice may fall, but Farage will swerve this just like he does everything else.

This.

And get more money so we can get a proper world service back. Broadcast in all countries in all languages.

Soft power turned up to 11.

And...it's now mostly fixed...got to hand it to everyone...that was spectacularly efficiently done!

Meanwhile at Boeing...

I agree we need to deal with that, but at the moment we have a government that wants closer ties, not to actually join.

If the Green's put their efforts into joining it's completely different optics to people who don't seem that bothered.

We need to start by publicly saying "We want to rejoin".

By the time we get to that point he may not be in power, or Hungary may not even be in the EU.

Let's make friends and influence people, and get everyone we can on side, if it comes down to the wire and Hungary is opposing the will of every other member state we don't know what will happen.
November 23, 2025 at 10:15 AM
Have we asked? Have we made our position clear? Have we done ANYTHING to indicate we want to join?

We need to start the ball rolling, admitting defeat before we even start is absolutely stupid.

There are negotiations to be had, discussions to undertake and actions we take to show our willingness.
November 23, 2025 at 10:07 AM
Compared to all the other policies from the other parties that have tried and are working so well?

Worth a go, try something a little different.

Whilst I agree the UK is a basket case at the moment, being part of the EU would help stabilise certain things.

Individual countries in the EU also have their problems. All the countries have things that need sorting, but I accept they are having the problems whilst inside, we are on the outside.

We can do more than one thing at once. Even if they repeatedly say no, we keep plugging away.

Circumstances may force concessions to be made on both sides.
November 23, 2025 at 9:43 AM
Why bother breathing? You're going to die anyway.

There will always be a reason to not do something, but the EU gives us our best opportunity for future prosperity as a country and as a people.

It is beholden upon us to try our best, anything else is not good enough.

You're a very positive person aren't you? 😂

And we owe it to our children to try, BREXIT is totally pointless (at least for the arguments made for leaving) and is just doing more and more damage to us.
November 22, 2025 at 12:55 PM
They could kick Hungary out at the same time, think of it as a 1 in 1 out agreement 😁

But in all seriousness, the EU need to get a handle on Hungary (although I can understand why they don't want to kick them out) and we could be a very valued member, especially in these uncertain times.
November 22, 2025 at 12:54 PM
Doesn't hurt to ask and I would hope they would be more pragmatic in their decision.

The world is no longer in a position for friends and allies to be holding grudges when the best for everyone is for us to be together. Especially in light of Russia and the US being utter shits at the moment.
