No detail goes overlooked here at Dual Wield Studio, so our team alongside @kevinjaystanton.bsky.social created custom neck tape, sew-in labels and hangtags for this collection. We even designed unique barcodes, and yes - they’re fully functional (neat)!

As with all of our cut & sew items (meaning they’re measured & crafted with raw fabric from scratch), our team goes through several rounds of fit testing to ensure our apparel items are accessible.

It took our first physical sample to determine the changes we wanted to make to the design, including raising the bottom petal shapes & moving the pink droplets on the sleeves closer to the shoulder seam to balance out the design. Our first sample versus final sample below!

From initial sketch to the final mockup, you can see how even the smallest changes can make the world of difference - in this case, mainly changing the shape and placement of the scalloped petals at the bottom.
