The Governments plan for a dedicated transport security unit requires Primary Legislation & won’t be quick to implement

The Luas Red line won’t be running between the Point & Connolly stations for ‘at least a week’ due to the fire at George’s Dock Bridge last night

We’ve yet to hear if it requires a complete bridge replacement yet… if that happens it could be months

Our DART trains are already over a decade past their use-by date and the Government have added yet another step to think about replacing them

It only takes one person on a carriage playing music to wreck everyone else’s commute

Irish Rail will be fining people for it going forward

Irish Rail is clamping down on listening to music out loud (you could get a €100 fine)

The railway operator is also requesting its customers not to vape on the train or put their feet or bags on seats.

The Crowe report into the RPU has been released and there’s some incredible admissions in it

• ANPR not working in 30% of vehicles
• Checkpoints too close to depot’s
• Some staff blatantly not performing duties
• Supervisors hindered Policy issues

We’re expecting the Liffey Valley BusConnects contract to be signed today, but they seem to be pushing forward with a design that does not have planning permission

The new layout is dangerous, has less bus priority & makes a complete mockery of the planning process
