Big on cycling and music. Some politics.
Keep Right On !
Best thing about the Tour of Britain stage yesterday was the huge cheer that came up the hill like a wave each time Geraint Thomas approached. It was quite something. What a legend. #procycling

In 1862, a Union soldier found cigars wrapped in a piece of paper in a field of clover. The paper was a copy of Confederate Gen. Lee's invasion orders. The Southern sloppiness helped the Union stop Lee at Antietam.
It's unknown who lost the orders in the field, or if he was related to Pete Hegseth.

Still can’t stop thinking about the binary nature of American elections, a few hundred thousand votes in three states all the distance between just normal stuff and armed officers keeping House reps out of the department of education and a guy named Big Balls canceling everyone’s Medicare

That was quite a storm. Power lines down to our row of houses. Think it may be a while before we get connected.

Bit late to the party but following the Badger's recent 70th birthday I thought I would dig out this holiday snap. From the #TourdeFrance 1982, this was taken at the bottom of a descent on Stage 15 (Manosque to Orcieres-Merlette). #Hinault in shot in the peloton wearing the Yellow Jersey.

No cycling outdoors today. Going to relax by the fire and play some #Dylan albums. First up: Love & Theft

Saw Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds last night. Never seen before and somewhat sceptical of an Arena gig but it was pretty extraordinary. Think I may have caught him at one of his creative peaks #nickcave
