I quite liked it but stopped playing it because I felt an aspect of the mechanics is flawed: if I remember correctly the most difficult type of objective (the tile configuration one) was absurdly hard to get and very little rewarding

Haven't seen the adaptation, but I'm wondering if you should try the original comic it's based on, it's got a lot of (very heavily coded) local political messages but it's good, slightly dark and paranoid but epic at the same time
