Not a grizzlies fan myself actually, can’t imagine any of them are happy about such a hard pivot this late into the season. I personally just hate watching him act how he does on the sideline. Don’t want to speculate, but it does seem like an odd decision to make for basketball reasons alone.

Definitely think Portland has a better chance than Phoenix to get in there. The hobbled Mavs definitely most likely to fall out of the GSW,LAC,SAC gridlock. No one has it easy, but tankathon has blazers as the 3rd toughest strength of schedule left. Would be an impressive push from the young team.

Yep. Hard to find a silver lining that isn’t just they’ve finally (hopefully, seemingly) committed to a rebuild rather than staying in mediocrity.

Exactly, if they don’t think it’s working, he’s gonna have a lot of suitors to move him again. If he leaves in FA and they lose him for nothing, highly doubt collins, sidy, or even jones were key pieces longterm anyway. Can’t see a downside unless you think this stunts castle.

I gotcha. Like what I’ve seen of his game, so it makes a lot of sense that he’s someone you want going forward. Just not tapped into Blazers spaces, so wasn’t sure how he fit into what they’re trying to become. Thanks for the insight
