All this bullshit does is take families out of a bad situation and put them in an impossible one.
I teach my kids that no one leaves our house hungry. But the US isn't so much a house as a faceless corp, huh?

-Thought hamburgers were a luxury, had no fucking notions of steak and lobster.
-Watched my mother go with nothing while my sister and I still struggled.
-did not celebrate holidays as a kid.

For sure lol. I love Dwarven lore so much because it is so intriguing, but I also love mages for as many reasons. It's a terrible decision to have to make.

...like any of the Avengers movies, but it's the easiest modern cultural talking point for a team-up, which isn't Marvel exclusive.
Having them all in one game, with the chance of them naturally teaming up or working together, only makes sense with DA's themes IMO.

Sure. My first HoF is dead, too. But the Warden Commander from Awakening, Stroud, the living Warden from Inquisition, etc, there are narrative stand-ins. Or, probably just ways to outright not include them in that case.
