I doubt if C2 will become law in Canada. It's a Charter violation and our Charter gives us a protected right to privacy.

A many years ago Purism released the Librem 5. They accepted deposits from customers but didn't deliver the phones. After a while, they ghosted customers looking for a refund.

Do you have your password saved in the browser? Could be a hacker is getting the cookies from the last login. Maybe use the Proton Pass extension and clear cookies from the browser when done. The pita is having to enter the 2fa each time.

My vpn gets blocked at Youtube since I use Freetube or PipePipe to view vids. If I want to split tunnel, I have to give up Netshield and Killswitch. These remain active on Android.

Apple has total control on what apps are allowed on any idevice. Switching to an iPhone isn't a solution to Google blocking F-Droid.
