UNISON has serious concerns about @dudleycouncil.bsky.social's Children's Services, where we have been told that CCTV has been used to listen to conversations between employees without their knowledge or permission.
This would be a breach of our members’ rights to privacy

UNISON has become aware that, in at least one workplace in Dudley Borough, CCTV surveillance systems have been abused by an employer.

UNISON has long argued that Dudley Council’s approach to sickness absence treats those of us with long-term conditions unfairly.

Now a member has won her job back after she successfully argued, with UNISON’s support, that her dismissal was unfair.

Disgracefully, Council leaders now seem to want to ignore this vote and plough ahead with their own privatisation plans
