Your local towel-wearing game preservationist librarian. Autisticly obsess over #dkgame, terrible horror movies, adventure games and weeb shit. He/They.
Here's a recent highlight from my own delves into various obscurities:
Radioactive Dreams. A surprisingly optimistic Albert Pyun movie about a post-apocalyptic future featuring a couple of would-be private eyes who grew up in a nuclear shelter surrounded only by 1940s pulp detective fiction.

Met Søren Jønsson at Copenhagen Gaming Week today.
Some of you might be familiar with him as the lead writer on most of the Pixeline games. These days he's writing AR choose your own adventure style books at Peasoup.

Fun fact: Back in August 2022 I pledged €195 towards the Kickstarter for this game. Sadly the Kickstarter didn't succeed, but I've been anxiously waiting for its release nonetheless. I even have it up on my wall!

Cagliostro is definitely a top contender for best cinema car chase... But may I counter-offer The Fuma Conspiracy?
(The full chase is actually five minutes long, but Bluesky only allows three minute video embeds)

Been doing pretty well on most of these to be honest, but I suppose I am running behind with the reading of fucking books specifically...

Suffice to say that definitions get a bit more complex. Here's a classification scheme from Roger Caillois - Man, Play and Games

I'd like to say that it's Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent... But it's slowly becoming apparent to me that I'm the "Spud guy" now.

Set up a Jellyfin server myself after Google axed their Google Music service. It also allowed me to setup backups for my film collection, which ended up being massively helpful during COVID. :)

Double feature of Re-Animator in Empire Bio tonight (and on Saturday in Århus and Odense). These are two of my all-time favourite horror movies. Who's going?

Ø is Island in Danish. One of the very earliest animated shorts was actually "Øen" (The Island) by Storm P, which remained unfinished and unreleased until it was edited together for its inclusion in the Documentary Eventyret om Dansk tegnefilm in 2008.
