There are a million other examples but it’s so reminiscent of Iraq where all the “give war a chance” types who eventually realised it was bullshit were treated as more serious thinkers than the people who were right all along, who apparently just got lucky.

Also, as plenty of others have pointed out, they don’t actually have any ideas to fix any of the issues they do talk about. So the plan is to just talk about “kitchen table issues” but don’t do anything about them. Sounds great!
